The first 'show' of the collaboration of mega mama crafty artists is nearly here... we are off to peddle our lovingly made wares to the unawares of what's coming their way tomorrow!! The all so lovely Dragonfly Artisans (who also keep me sane most days) are probably getting some well earned shut eye while I drag my body back from Yogi's lovely party.
There'll be silks, soaps, wands, needle books, pincushions, playscapes, felted dolls and a smattering of these felty fish.....for sale tomorrow and then online thereafter at Etsy.....

Felty Fabulous!
Real person weekend!
The Hairy One and I, attended a very lively, hip, groovy party, complete with tons of live folky, trippy music, vintage togs, long hair and tashes. Some oldies (us) and tons of younger peeps hung out on the lawn while our kids were jamming in the studio, showing off newly practiced rockin' tunes! Donovan Boy garnered help from a pretty blonde gal with seconds of food and Little Gandalf jumped his way to heaven in the Mystery Mobile until the fuse blew and all walls were sinking fast. So with a spot of gardening thrown in today and a gnarly tree - not finished yet and a bad pic to boot- it all FELT fab!! Happy Memorial Day!

Challenges...
This month's challenge for NFEST - an etsy street team - is bugs! Some of the entries so far are super buggilicious too! I'm a virgin challenge participant so was excited to dream up something suitable and worthy of the quest and my store...have a rep ya know.. I was thinking of something gross to start, but will need a visit to the library to really conjure up something fab and funky in felt....but then I saw these beauties...watch this space......

Glorious Dollies
Moving tiredly on...I happen to have a few pics to share of some dollies. Some that were just today 'selling like hotcakes' at the OCS silent auction, (boy does that school need some dosh deposits for the upcoming year of budget cuts). Donovan Boy owns the top sapphire-eyed hipster and Little Gandalf's beach bum lives in our car! I will post an actual tutorial on Waldorf dollmaking once my Summer workshop sessions start in July!
I'm pleased to say I won the battle of the kimono, a great moment for me since I'm no great seamstress - see Batty Belfry for that honour and yes I'm english....
The knitted dolls were from patterns from our friends at Weirdolls, very easy and lovely to make! Thanks Susan.

Gushy warning....
Have you ever felt wanted, needed, loved, trusted? I hope so. I honestly don't believe I deserve any of it, but recently that's what's I feel. I know I'm not the nicest person alive - that's reserved for Donovan Boy, who I swear is full of love and light. Thank you to those who put up with me and give so much of yourselves that inspire hope and love.

Wands at the Ready?
It appears the weekend was ripe for a little family magical wand making. Little Gandalf just couldn't keep his mitts off the "pretty colours" and wanted two for himself! The Hairy One also helped put them all together and LG picked his favorites to keep although I haven't handed them over just yet. :-)
